  • Brake pads

Although i get the urge to ram people out of my way sometimes, i don't think my insurance will be very simpathetic.

So im looking around for some new brake pads, does anyone have good things to say about any certain brands?

I've always bought genuine toyota pads as "mother knows best" but just thought id throw it out there.

    Cheers
    Alex

    Hi,
The only brake pads I have ever found to be any good, apart from OM ones, are BOSH.
    Long lasting, even wearing etc.
If you go on their site you can track the right ones for your car.
    Cheers

I always use OEM pads and disks.

Unless its something like an M3 with a Brembo 6 pot floating calliper upgrade...

Not sure about 2nd gens, but the serious 3rd gen people fir the 321mm Tundra V8 calipers and disks. as seen on my Build Thread
        More Lift.
        More Tyres.
        More Engine.

Avics from Roughtrax. You have to ask Barry for them.
I've got them fitted with Brembo discs and considering I used to have to throw an anchor out the window to stop, they're alright.

I use milners pads and discs on my 70 series land cruiser. After 25000 miles and two years they still look ok. Have been through mud and dirt from green laning and offroading and still ok.
Milners are cheap cheerful and effective.
