  • ABS light on

Hi there, im new to this forum and I've got a problem with my surf so I hope I'm posting this in the right place. Here goes.
I bought front and rear shockers, springs and steering rack bushes from toughtrax and got my local garage to fit them.
I got the car back and the suspension and handling is now very good but the ABS light is now on and I've noticed that the priming sort of noise (what ever it does) when you turn the ignition on isn't making that noise now ABS light on.
I've told the garage and they said bring it back to have a look at it but thought if I could get some answers from this forum before I take car back would make issue easier to resolve, hope someone can help.
    Thank you, rob

Sounds like they broken an ABS sensor.

You've not said what year your truck is.. but I used this method to diagnose mine.

Hi there, sorry for late reply, the sensors seem OK, I'm wondering if a abs wire has been stretched as the rear axle got lowered for the updated springs, I've set up another post asking how to run a check, I've read its jump terminals Tc and E1 to read codes but not sure if that's for a 3rd gen. I'm just getting used to the forum. I'm prob not posting things in the right place but still getting used to the forum, cheers
