Overdrive??

Apart from off-roading (when I remembered), I can't actually remember ever switching the overdrive off on my old 2nd Gen.

Now I have a 3rd Gen I'm wondering the same question, does anyone else switch it off, or do you just forget about it and leave it on?

Only ever turned it on when on a motorway run as it usually doesn't come in when round town

Mines been on constantly for the 8 years Ive owned it. You are supposed to switch it off when towing, but even when I had the caravan I didn't bother, I do however have a stand alone ATF cooler.

I never switch mine off either, though the overdrive does not operate till your doing about 70mph, so motorway driving really.

Nearly 15 years n not switched it off yet, only by mistake so Yeah definitely leave it on ....
