Rear window Q

Hey all,

I know there are a million threads about Windows but thought quicker to ask than scroll for days.

My rear window goes down fine. From the key in the tailgate and the switch inside. However, it does not go up on the key.... Should it? Mine never has. 😐
Secondly with the engine running it goes up fairly slow and occasionally gets stuck but eventually goes.

Advice and tips appreciated

It should go up on the key, sounds like the motor and linkage is ok so check the relays (in the near side rear, behind the trim near the light cluster), and if ok check the key switch,

Maybe clean the mechnics and regrease.
Als try to vind out why is struggles to go up. Could be something is blokking it.

I had the same problem. I found it was the tracks on the printed circuit board behind the key switch. One half of the track had worn away. I made one up, and it was fix. I posted the details here under this section. My original post showing how I did in was in October 2013 (11th I think) - this may help you find it.
