  • 1995 4Runner panhard drop bracket, please help :-)

Hello HiluxSurf members! This is my first post and I'd like to thank the moderators for activating my account.

    Down to business,

Please can you reccomend someone to sell me a panhard drop bracket for my 95 4Runner. I've seen the ones on 4Crawler and the specs that people on here have kindly made available but unfortunately I'm not in a position to make one.

    Can you help me? :-)

    Thanks
    Tom

      Nice looking truck mate.

I've got one that I never bothered fitting. It cost me £20 to get it made and you can have it for that + postage if you want it.

Let me know and I'll try and dig it out for you.

Thanks for the nice comments guys,

Bonk, I'm interested for sure! How far does your bracket drop it?

It was designed for a standard 2" lift.

Ok then, can you post a pic of it here.

I think I'll have it off you :-) do you have any bolts for it?

If we can sort it so I can pay you tonight could you post them tomorrow. I'm going seven sisters at the weekend and I'd like to throw it on for then :-)

for a 2" lift its not really necessary. diff only moves about 4mm sideways from stock. tho it is nice to keep the bar at factory angle.

the standard one you see mostly is 4", works well with the landcruiser coils.

by mem 2" is really tight to make (and tends to rely on welds which is not great), i think the closest practical one is about 2.5 inch.

This is a PDF of a Panhard Rod Drop Bracket. As you can see the drop is 70mm.

The one above may be the same.

I'm just waiting for him to get in touch because I don't think I can PM him.

                    Tweak'e

Thanks for the knowledge mate. I'm running about 4" at the back now but I wanted to level the bar out a bit just for now.

a 4" is what you need.
you can make it to the length you require.
but see what bonks one is, it may be a 3" one which would be close enough.

                        Sorry not been on here.

I'll take a pic at lunch time and post it up for you.

No, I don't have the bolts.
