few dumb questions KZN130

Got a Surf today Gen 2 kzn130 3.0 1995 ssrx limited and there is a switch to the right of the steering wheel on the far right of the dash, when pressed an orange light on the switch comes on and nothing else seems to happen? any ideas what this might be?

Also the interior light doesn't come on when the doors open I have moved the level to "door" position but not working, Is this an easy fix? The key light comes on when door is open.

I am planning on doing a coolant flush along with new rad cap and thermostat, but how much coolant to buy?

Rear fog Light?

Worn/dirty contacts on light switch, remove and clean should work

Check bulb, or power to it as well. Check the wiring for the door switch or the switch its self for broken wires or bad earth.
