  • best place to sell a surf?

hi guys, after many years of loyal service it's time to get rid of the truck.

But I'm not sure if this site is still used very much and even if so, where would be the best places to advertise (is a L reg, SSRX Special Savana Edition). Wear and tear, she's 21year old ))

Some peple have suggested Gumtree but would rather her go to a surf'lovin' home!

Tough one innit?! Surf lovers won't pay top dollar, they're just not worth very much... yet!

I'm a newbie. I consider myself lucky to have accidentally become a surf owner at a reasonable initial cost (embarrassingly high cost six months in, largely self inflicted!).

I guess it depends how sentimental you are about the truck (I would assume very, they are chuffing marvelous!). If it was me, I'd Ebay/Gumtree/Auto trade it, and have faith that whoever bought it would become a Surf lover, even if they weren't. Just like me!

me to, long time back someone had one for sale on ebay but it was a Sahara edition. Nothing more than a safari type roof rack and a ladder on the rear had been fitted and he called it the Sahara edition.

Bit like giving your Surf a 4" lift and calling it the ssrx tall edition.

Ebay gets the traffic at the end of the day and its cheap.

I bought mine from an ad on there and I wouldn't have found it otherwise.

thanks guys, I'll grab some photos from home this evening for you!

I'm really expecting much as she's 21 this year, has some rust and needs a bit of TLC - though runs fine!

                Will check out ebay
