KZN130 GEN2 Not running Right!

Hi, I have a KZN130 3.0 Surf AUTO, which needed a helicoil fitted to one of the back bolts of the rocker cover (after some gorilla shagged it!) Can anyone help with some info, regarding post refitment of parts removed like the throttle inlet pipe and disconnection of the VSV’s vacuum hoses, All the hoses have been reconnected as per diagram I found on the web! Anyways it runs ok but when you accelerate and it changes up through the gears its seems to lose power then it picks up again is this normal?
