A-bar weight??

Looking to get a quote for posting my A-bar but courier wants exact weight - I've no way of checking this, does anyone know? I'm trying to avoid going door to door down my street asking my neighbours if they've a bathroom scales I can use for a gert big chunk of metal in my garage.

Guess the weight. Probably around 5 kg.

They won't weigh it when they come to pick it up.
