  • What size?

    Hi,

Can anyone tell me what size wheel this is?

    http://1drv.ms/1Kt75jj

Or tell me where I can find it on the wheel as I cant find it?!

    All I know is it's a 16":-)

    Ta

The size could be stamped into the rim of the wheel, possibly on the inside so you'd need to remove the wheel to find it.
    I'm guessing it'll be either 7 or 8 x 16

The "JJ" might be a manufacturers code for the actual wheel size, you'd need to know who makes the wheel to check it though. Might be worth going to a tyre shop ( tyre spot or kiwi fit etc ) they should be able to help with actual rim size I would have thought

jj is the shape of the rim where the tyre beads seats on the rim. 255x75 tyres are almost the same size as 31x10.5 which are usually fitted to 7" rims. Sometimes fitted to 8" but not really recommended.

          Nev.

Have a look here - http://www.carbibles.com/tyre_bible_pg4.html - for an explanation on bead profiles.

            Nev.

So, if I bought a whole set of new wheels at 16x7, my existing tires will fit?
