Hi n welcome, Ya may also want to consider a 20 year old Truck (forerunner) spent in our Climate + salt in winters whereas in Japan (Surf's) hold up better by comparison ... especially underneath ....

Cheers for the fast replies. KOI that's what I was thinking, around the 1k Mark. But the ones I've seen about seem to be rather higher then that. Especially when you consider that you can pick up a decent surf for £1500, less in some cases.
