Gidday, just wondering what the differences are between the British released 4runner and the imported 3ltr Hilux Surf apart from the country of origin - of course
arent they V6 petrol too I think, and the biggest difference will be the owner themself because a hilux surf owner standing at a parts counter in a Toyota dealership is 100% invisible

I have to say Jim, I get fantastic service from my local toyota dealer. The parts guy is friendly and helpful. He has looked after me for parts for both Surfs and he likes them. Just got nearly €700 worth of stuff to fix the fender bender... Glad I wasn't paying
is it Fitzpatricks in Kildare Town Ciaran? I go to McCoys in Leixlip and your man there says the word import like he's tryin to pick pubes from between his teeth
Jemca Metro in Tottenham have a special phone number (0208 457 2269)for imported parts now and a nice guy called Lee who is quite knowledgeable about Surfs. I can actually buy things from them now
its great to have you Elvie back on the forum my 'virtual' friend, and to all who arent familiar with her name, she's a mind of information and Technical Problems on the old forum was her home, you asked and she answered, worthy of a mention I thought

Jim, the UK 4Runner came with the same 3.0TD as the Surf, or the 3.0lt V6 if you prefer to shovel gallons of petrol in it! We did
(Humm, can you 'shovel' petrol? )
