Rag joint

Running the bigger tyres and lift has appeared to have the knock on effect of making the steering a bit woolly surprisingly enough

There is some play in the rag joint all else seems fine

Does anyone know what the limits of play are and would a ally spacer be ok in place of the rag joint?

Yup, you can replace the rag joint with alloy spacer to remove woollines of steering without a problem.

You just feel the bumps a bit more 😊

Did Ayrton Senna or was it Sir Frank try a similar mod

Bear in mind, part of that vague feeling is the change in castor angle brought on by a suspension lift....less self centering action.

If not already done, check the box for play, might get a bit of reduced vague there. you probably knew that already

I will have a look at the rag joint also.
See if there is something kicking around in the garage I can use or at least get some dimensions so I can get something machined up.......
