So, went on an epic road trip today to Scotland with my dad, and now I finally have a surf!

Greast buy, I almost bought it myself but I am to busy the now. What did you pay 1100? Good luck with the MOT seems simple wee jobs if his advert was correct.

Nah, 1400. He wanted more than he was offered last time.really nice guy. Drove us to the edge of the water in the estuary to show us the fwd climbing back out up the pebble slope. Really impressed I was! Fitting stereo tomoz. I think my soarer lead will work. Any advice? Also while I'm in there he thinks he knocked something as the rev counter is intermittent. Do they run through there?

First thing I would have done Buy a Carmel wheel, that will do the trick without damaging the paint.

What makes you think that? I was replying to you question " how to remove sticker"

Cheers I'll buy one. Think I mis read your post as the face looked like a mad face.
                      Anyway

Car failed mot today as I knew it would. New front brake hoses I bought ready, but he says there's a front brake imbalance, and a rear brake piston is leaking. Think he said piston, I can't remember. Is there any common faults with the brakes? I'd rather find my own parts I said to him which is fine. I've changed discs and pads before but never messed with the pipes/fluid etc. Is there some kind of booster at the back or does he literally mean a caliper? Brakes were bad on the way home. Lots of pedal travel and not enough braking force

                        Hi
for the leaky rear brake cylinder you can get a kit from Toyota with the relevant rubber seals, if I find my old one I can tell you the exact part number. It was quite cheap.

                        Cheers

I can't find the actual box, which had the part number on, but it's called, 'cup kit, brake cylinder'.
                          Cheers

Cheers, although a new cylinder from a factors is only a tenner.

Hi Craig so you eventually got on here then, I've had problems with loging in but all solved now, (I hope)
Looks like someone had been trying to dye those mats black, even after 7 years my mats are not anywhere that black.
