OK, the replacement transmission arrives soon and I've ordered a new filter and gasket from the U.S. what else will I need in terms of gaskets, seals and things to make the swap?

    TIA

1.Tube of good quality instant gasket.
    2. ATF.
3.I would replace the input shaft seals, and transfer case pinion seals. Just as a matter of precaution .

Cheers Mark. I've got a gasket coming with the new filter, so hopefully won't need the instant stuff, but gave some here all the same.

Rear crank seal might be worth doing whilst the box is off

-Sump drain plug (x3 if you are getting a transfer box too)
-FIPG (instant gasket for the transmission oil pan, I use the Toyota Orange stuff)
-Transmission fluid (Dexron II or III, for a 3rd gen at least)

            I would personally replace:
            -Front/Rear driveshaft output seals
-Torque converter to oil pump seal
-output shaft to Transfer box seal

            I've assumed its an automatic.
            More Lift.
            More Tyres.
            More Engine.

Stuff like that is probably going to be genuine Toyota, I got some engine seals and gaskets for my 3rd gen from Steven Eagle Toyota in Park street Hertfordshire they were very helpful. Cheap as well!

Anyone? I can't relate the name of the part to a part number, so I can't order any of the seals I need, so can't get the truck back on the road, that has been sat outside the shed since early Jan, so any help translating parts to part numbers would be gratefully received

                        Thanks.

Thanks Ian. I'll try with this and see if I can translate the list into part numbers so I can get this done.
