  • New direction for my next project.

Looks like the pickup conversion will be my last truck based build thread for a while.
I think I have just secured the purchase of a BMW 325i m tech sport 1. The first gen were only made from 86 to Nov 87 before the 2 came out, so pretty rare. This one is a Jan 87 register, great engine with documented build. Needs body work, paint suspension and the like which suits me fine.

In fact if you google 325i tech m sport 1 and go to images its the first car you see - It does not look like that now but a few months in my toy shop and it will again, hopefully.

Yep I agree, I love the box stance I even like what's happening with the old Datsun Laurels these days, dropped a little on nice alloys and they look great.
My dream project ( in a working mans budget so no 250 Ferrari) would be a 1971/72 Datsun 240z black on black or silver with red leather.

Thanks Andy, I will stick some pictures on here for you as I go. Stage one will be securing the car, hopefully do the deal tomorrow, one other interested party who got in first but they are dragging their feet. Their deadline is Sunday or its mine.

Just got a text, guess who used nearly all of Sunday to exercise their option.

Pity I was very keen on doing this particular car. I am sure something will come up, maybe even an early 240Z which I have always loved.

                            240Z would be nice though.
