  • Break or sell complete..

Anyone noticing how things are selling? My Surf isn't running right, I've replaced it now so it's just sat on my drive. I'm wondering whether to stick it on ebay with it's problem or break it and sell the parts.

It's got plenty of mods and is still MoT'd for about 6 months.

If I break it I'd be tempted, but not determined, to keep some of the bits, ironically these are the bits likely to be easier to sell.

Any idea on the scrap value , stripped of the most wanted bits?

    Cheers.

FYI it's a 3.0 2nd Gen, if there is interest on here I'll pay for an add and post all the details and some more pics.

Not sure what they are selling at but those mods must be worth a bit.

Shotgun the winch bumper if you decide to break it and maybe the roof bars if they are thule ones

      What's wrong with it?

Not sure. But most of the time it doesn't respond to the throttle, it starts and ticks over fine, just doesn't rev properly?

It's not the ECU, it's had a new filter and I've had the tank off and it's like new inside.

I had a similar problem like that on mine but that was just under load which turned out to be my fuel pump. That threw up error codes though.

Got anyway I can get ahold of you without hijacking your thread too much Just want to ask you something about your mods.

Five wheels, spare is a MT rather than AT. Not sure on $$, offers considered.

Once I've decided on whether to part it out or shift it complete I'll post an ad.

                It's near Bristol, BS36 postcode.

How much for the entire truck as it stands?

Do you have an overall list of mods?

                  Any Tin worm?
                  More Lift.
                  More Tyres.
                  More Engine.

                      They're wide alloys and 33/12.5/15s.

It isn't right me selling here in chat, I'll post an ad in the parts for sale bit.

That's a shame. Yeah, you'll need 4". Mine is about 7 hence why they look small.

I've posted an ad now, just waiting for my payment to be acknowledged and the ad to be released.
