  • KZN 185 T-Belt light reset

Did a search to only find bits of info on resetting the t-belt light on a 3rd gen.

Is removing the clock assembly still the preferred method? and if so, where is the screw located that needs to be moved? on the clock?

    Thanks

This is what is says for 3rd gen:

Where conventional dials are fitted, use the following procedure.
Remove Dial/Clocks assembly. (Refer to suitable manual)
At the rear you will find a location where there are two screw holes with a screw fitted to only one of them. Remove this screw and insert in the alternate location hole.
      Replace the dials assembly.

The third gen clock is located on the centre console of the dash, no dials there. So still not clear as to what this refers to.

Get the instrument cluster out, look at the circuitry on the back and look for the screw that has an empty hole under it. Remove the screw and insert into the lower hole to cancel the timing belt light.

Oh why, oh why did I ever stop coming on here with all the love that's around.

I do call the tach and speedo - clocks, but thought that was an Americanism and thought you good folks here didn't.
Thanks for the pictures Vince, much appreciated.
