I'm still here .... Occasionally lol .
Yes I was going to pop by while down your way but things didn't quite pan out how we planned lol .
I am however planning on heading down again later this year in the new l200 so I'll give you a shout and pop by for a cuppa mate .

Hiya Neil.Have health issues at the moment.Having test done for lung cancer as a shadow has been found on 1 lung and i'm having breathing problems.Apart from that all is ok.Looking at selling the house and buying a couple of acres to live self sufficent on.

I joined back in 2004 after meeting a lot of you at Knowsley 4x4 centre, I then went out and bought a '94 3ltr. I wrote around a dozen articles about our exploits in the now defunct 4x4 Mart magazine.

I sold my Smurf when I started writing for a Land Rover mag and I've hardly been on here since, though I do lurk occasionally!

Still look in occasionally. Now driving a low mileage 13yo Audi A6 Avant Quattro (so still got a 4x4). Sorry to say it but the A6 so much more comfortable than the Surf and sooo much faster as well. Still miss the old girl at times though.
