A Lexus V8 into a tiny Escort with all wiring hidden. Compare that engine compartment with a Surf's and you can appreciate the work involved getting it in there that neatly.

Sitting real low in there as well. I lobbed a 2.0 pinto into my Escort MK1 and the camshaft pulley was hitting the bonnet!

An old guy in my street has a Mk1 Escort, he used it every day up until a couple of months ago (I think he's had a stroke)
I reckon 400Euros would buy it.
I love 'em and they are making decent money now.

I guess the bigger wheels let him run larger modern discs all around, which may be useful with the power hike.

I would have probably gone with some black Volk TE037, or replicas thereof.
