Front bumper

Anyone know of anyone making plastic front bumpers for a gen2?
I took mine off for the body lift and it seems to be mostly made of 'optimism'...and I need it back on the road as cheap and quick as possible.

i believe jay (dzieju69) is selling a 2nd gen front bumper, he's down in dorset. metal is ratty, but i 'm sure the plastic is okay. (well, it looked fine on saturday)

Cheers for the reply fella...If I read that right I may have been a bit vague in my post...I need a replacement for the metal bit (or the whole thing) and was hoping that somewhere out there someone had made a plastic one.

My front bumper is painted not chrome.
I believe it's originally off a pick up.

I got my one from Vince, he should be able to confirm what mk it was from?
I don't think any of the 2nd Gen Surfs had painted bumpers.

Having the body lift will give you a certain amount of leeway with the fit.

I have this one here taking up space and getting sprayed with grass cuttings, but you'll need to PM the owner (Sadinn) on here to see if it's for sale. He could probably drop it off for you (Reading services?) on his way back to London this week-end in Lexurf XI if everything goes to plan this week.

The back is the usual rustyness, but not in a Weetabix kind of way.
