Slight dent on bonnet

Hi guys!

Firstly I would like to admit that I am a complete moron, before the general jibes come in!!

I was doing my usual routine of topping up the Coolant, Screenwash and Checking Oil etc before a big journey. In my haste I closed the bonnet but didn't slam it down. When I set off on said journey, the bonnent flew up and hit the windscreen. The windscreen, thankfully, isn't cracked but there are two large dents in the bonnet where it hit the windscreen wipers!

I was wondering if it was easier to replace the entire bonnet as I have read that they are quite tricky to repair?

I'm sure you don't feel it, but it sounds like you were lucky to escape with minimal damage!

No sure if it helps, but I've got a black 3rd gen bonnet I've just removed off mine.......
