The truck is back!!

Hi folks, I thought I'd give an update on my truck....

As some of you probably know, its a 3rd gen with a VVTi 1UZ in it... (Documented a bit here), Its now been on the road in that form for about a year... But I have some more up to date pics, and thought I'd share...


A 3rd gen, with some lift.


And a V8....


If anyone was concerned that "That air filter looks like it'll get warm air"
I made this...



That makes much noise from these...


Freshly refurbed split rims, new 285/75/16 BFG's, and Tundra V8 disks, pads and callipers (It now stops!!!)

The paint job isn't the best in the world ever, but I am pretty fussy!

I gave the engine a bit of a wipe down but no more than 5 minutes or so worth, I'm surprised at how fresh it still looks after nearly a year of almost daily driving...

Next up, I'm going to start on the Xenon projector headlights, the goal is to get more light without looking too boy racer..

And I'm still hunting for an non E-locker Landcruiser Colorado/Prado rear axle for the rear disk brake conversion...

Hey, how did you manage to mount the spare wheel being that wide? Does it not bite into the mounting frame? Or have you got a spacer in place? Just wondering as my new wheel won't mount without me letting some pressure out so the tyre doesn't get damaged.
