  • TV antenna

I can sometimes pick up some channels, and sometimes not on the TV that came with my 96 Surf. Can someone school me on where the antenna is located, adjusting it, replacing it, etc?

    Thanks.

Is it aftermarket or a Toyota option?

Never seen one with a TV myself.

Bit of info here about car TV installs.

I'm not sure....I assumed it was dealer installed. All the buttons are in Japanese. It still has the original Japanese navigation system, radio, and TV.

It's not all that clear, but it make make sense when you have the thing I front of you too! (I've never seen one)

I still have a Toyota-branded GPS box stuck to my roof. I think the aerial is in the side window on the rear.

Yeah, looking now it appears that the two side windows have lines embedded in them that must be the antenna. I was hoping there might be a way to adjust it, but I guess not.

                Thanks everyone.
