  • My New Erection

Due to having to keep moving one of the daily drivers in the household to get the truck out, I decided to slightly extend the garage with a covered lean to for the wife's motor

Still a work in progress, but should be getting the roof on in the next week or so and then look at replacing the grassed are with type 1 road-stone initially with a view to tarmacing in the future.

Glad to see the truck has pride of place.

I will leave the impressive erection gag for Gra.

I was going to suggest grasscrete instead of type 1 but with a roof on,the grass may not do so well, although if the side is left open it may be okay. Just a thought.

Was it hard to get it up by yourself?

              Or did you have help...

Side and back will be left open for the time being so will have a look into this. It would certainly look prettier than road stone

To get the erection up, about 2 hours, but I had done plenty of preparation before hand and had it all sized up ready to go

I ended up with two little helpers to get the main beams and supports in place
