Tesco in Honiton, Devon had the same offer last week. Either it is competition between supermarkets or the wholesale price has dropped.

Can the Toyota 1kZ-T engine work ok or does is need diluting with derv??

Our Gen 3s have run fine on 70% oil : 30% diesel in the summer and 50:50 in the winter for the last 3-4 years. However, this is in east Devon, quite close to the coast though.
We use some diesel in the mix all the time to help protect the pump seals etc. but I believe others use 100% veg oil.
Not brave enough myself!
