I have removed all plastic arches and that rubber strip. However I welded up the arch extension mount points and I am leaving the indent where the rubber sat as I don't fancy body filler the length of the truck.

it can be welded, or done with fiberglass

Good luck welding a filler strip in.
I want an all metal narrow body finish so will leave as is with the rubber strip removed.

my mate just told me that he will give me the spare fuel tank this next week,
so i decided to fit the tow bar before it comes, simply because it will be easier to fit without the tank on, so i started grinding it, and first coat of paint, then couldn't keep on going, due rain mixed with mosquitoes (mitches), and my time is running out, need to start the day, so if weather is better i will fit it later on when i finish my task

got the wing of the damaged one, and made a template for the snorkel
                  it worked out well

surprised that the snorkel didn't get damaged,

You're in way over my head with this, but didn't I see a breather line next to the filler on the aux tank pic?

                          'T' into t'other breather line...?

Nice job building your own truck, can't wait to see how it comes out.

You don't need one on the second tank because they share the same filler tube.
