Bash plate is pretty much as it left Tahara but with some of the paint scraped off.


I'm thinking two tubes running down from the original fixings to the front member, with a plate bolted between the two fixed in with countersunk set screws, and assuming I can pull in a favour the Toyota emblem water jet cut into the plate..

Ah, so theres a frame forming? Did you find the bash plate was rusty, had mine off today of course and it's pretty knackered...

The front bumper is staying the way it is.At the mo'
But with the addition of some spots courtesy of Vince, just got to figure out a way to have hi and lo beams incorporated into the lens.

Bash plate is currently sat under my bench, not sure if it is going back on, or something else instead currently evolving from two 25mm tubes.....

I see there's no bash plate and some mods to the front bumper, what's your plan there?

Finally got my 50mm spring spacers fitted today, and with the wheels off it would have been rude not to fit my new hub caps.


I have a full 9 inches of clearance from the top of the tyre to the edge lip of the wheel arch and a full 37 inches from the deck to the wheel arch lip.
