Have any of you lot noticed the new improved rattle cans?

As some of you know I am giving my truck some much needed TLC.

At the moment the bumper is in the garage being resprayed.

I'm at the lacquer top coat stage but when I went back to the motor factors to get some more lacquer they only have the rattle cans in 125ml size.

Well I put a coat or two on last night and this morning I have found that the top coat has gone cloudy.

Do you think that this has been caused by high humidity last night after I shut the garage up?
Fingers crossed it is not some reaction to the new improved cans.

    Any suggestions, especially helpful ones?

Clear lacquer is murder for clouding over if there's any hint of dampness or cold or a draft, sometimes it dries out on it's own but you really need some heat when doing it, try a hair drier on it, if that dont work it a case of sanding it back and having another go,
Too young to die and too old to give a toss

      Hi Ian
How are things, hope all is well?

I had the garage at about 23* last night before I stated spraying, so I suppose like you say the humidity levels after may have caused the problem.
I have some 2000 wet n dry so may give a rub over and see where we go from there.

      Bloomin' spraying.

        Getting there......
Flatted back the crappy cloudy lacquer top coat and broke out the polish.
