Does anyone on this forum either offer a service to refurb tractors, or would like to buy ours as a project?
We have a Massey Ferguson 590 that is 25 years old, and by the look of it, has been outside for every one of those 9,125 days. The steering is in dire need of an overhaul, and the loader that's attached is putting a lot of additional weight on the front, which doesn't help, and the hydraulics are leaking too.
It doesn't need to be showroom condition by any means, just clean, working, watertight and road worthy. Alternatively, the tractor and loader combined are worth about £4K, so you could collect it and trailer it away.
We are based in NE Warwickshire between Leamington and Daventry.
It would be good to have it redfurbed, but I'm not really fussed.
