So far since last October it has had ;
New battery
Oil pump
Crank seals
Alternator
Coded key
And today I will be pulling out the starter motor.
If I fill up the fuel tank I think I may double its value.

Got a zafira 1.9 cdti 59 reg low mileage FSH etc
So far in 2 years ownership it's had...

1: timing belt pulleys and water pump (ok I know service items BUT it's so well known for the pump to fail 40,000 miles BEFORE the recommended change that I did it to be safe...) £200
2: gearbox rebuild (@44000 miles) £550
3: 2 x egr valves out and cleaned due to eml lights coming on and going into limp mode… £20+ loads of aggro.
Lots of other bits like knocks and rattles.

Yep based on troopers. Still a pile of dung though. I stalled mine with a trailer on and blew the fuel pump.

Only good car vauxhall made was the cavalier.

I've had two frontiers too. Both had head gasket problems both had constant eml lights coming on for loads of different reasons.
I got a OBD code reader for the last one and kept it in the glovebox....
I also keep it in the glove box of the zafira!
Never needed it for any other make of car, says it all really.
