Diesel stop solenoid/fuel regulator

Hi,
First post here. I have an l reg 3.0 diesel surf which has burnt out the fuel pump regulator valve/stop solenoid. Cant seem to find one anywhere. Toyota won't sell it as a separate item and want £2011 for a new diesel pump. Have tried first diesels in Croydon who say they may be able to get one for around £300. Was wondering if anyone has any ideas????

Hello Paul. Welcome to the forum. I assume you're talking about the valve pictured below. I had to replace mine in hurry at MOT time last year. It was pi55ing fuel out really badly. I got a genuine replacement spill valve from these

I paid about £80, but as I said, I was in a hurry. Why not ask on here, if anyone has a good used one......Good luck.

Thanks to MWS have contacted the company he used and they say they can get me the part if i give them the fuel pump no. Cannot seem to get the number off the pump which is causing me major probs. My surf is a 3.0 L reg.
Model y-kzn130w-gkpqt. Engine type 1kz-te. Was wondering if anyone here would happen to know the number please???

I just told them that it was a 1995 KZN130. That was all the guy at the parts counter needed.
