  • Lexux Prices

There is a council price list for having older Lexus' serviced and repaired at a Lexus dealership. The council price for a 90,000 mile service is £180 and the full Lexus bifta is £300.

My RX is going in tomorrow to have the inverter fixed and have its 90k service done (the full Lexus one). When I confirmed the work to be done, the girl asked if I'd like the engine and fuel system flushed and the annual Air Conditioning service done at the same time. She did mention an extra charge.

The extra charge for having the flushes done and the AC serviced (apparently it's more than just a re-charge) is a grand total of £10.05.

    That makes me happy.
Do you know that, with a 50 character limit, it's

Blimey that does seem like good value.

My only recent experience with dealer servicing is with my MB,that is £259 for the 20K service air con not included.

There is no such thing as a British pound

My old man always used to take his motors to be serviced and MOT'd at the council yard.
I thought they (council yards) had died out.

They have. When I say 'council price' it's a colloquialism for the cheaper option. Like Council TV would be terrestrial telly, for example. Not very PC, but hey-ho

Sorry, I should have read it properly first.
