Still on the lookout for a tidy 3.0L Surf or LR110 (if you read that out loud the internet will explode).

Would a pre-built with full leather interior, and added off road bits and bobs tempt it out

Lol, we can but hope....maybe chips on a string...

On a serious note, unemployment prevents a petrol habit forming.

            Hi,
Just noticed your post re: Surf Wanted, are you still looking?

I have decided to sell my 2nd Gen 3lt SSRX. Not posted it on the Forum yet as I need to transfer the cherished number I have on it but if you are interested and not in too big a hurry I could send you the details.

Happy to take a look chap.
I'm actively looking but also quite particular, so I may not find a vehicle for months or it might be tomorrow (as if lol).

So ping me some blurb and a pic and i'll get back to you.

Why does everyone assume a modern, petrol V8 is thirstier than a diesel Surf??!!

That's history for you...What do you think it really gets to the gallon?

The same as the 2.4, more if you tickle the loud pedal.
Factor in the price of unleaded compared to diesel and it works out slightly cheaper to run. No glowplugs to replace, no Redex bottles to buy and less frequent oil and ATF changes.

It just happened, what can I say...it was that or a Shogun and I didn't fancy learning all about another brand!

                              Thanks Robert...how's yours, head done?

Can anybody point at a good budget cam belt kit?

She's got the usual surface rust on the back of the chassis, I can sort that if we get a summer and need to make a bracket for the LSPV as its rotten, I don't image that'll be to trickery...otherwise just a case of service it and get insurance when the bike sells and I'm back on the road!
Quite looking forward to not having to drive Kirstys CRV, I kneecap myself every time I get in it, silly hand brake location.
