Now being new to owning a Surf. But not new to working on cars etc I am pleasantly surprised to see how easy and straight forward Toyota have made it to work on these things.
Coming from an old VW background I am finding it a pleasure. Not the biggest of jobs mind but it only took about 2 minutes…… The side light bulb.
My Mrs's car has the side light out…….. and its an odd bulb, I can't get my hand in properly to pull it out. and its just a bit of a sh!te job tbh so it's been ignored for a few weeks.
The Surf a totally different story…..bonnet open (although it performs no function I realise now), undo two easy screws, slide unit out, swap bulb and pop it back it……boom light is restored.
Its the simple stuff with these trucks that makes daily life a pleasure with them.
