Hi all, not had much to say lately, ( Just couldn't be arsed ),but I had to comment. IMHO "Sherlock" is immensely watchable, and I have enjoyed it from the first episode.

      BTW Hi George!

I liked the Basil Rathbone tellings, the ITV ones with Jeremy Brett and I like the Cumberbatch ones, despite the Moriarty being way OTT.

I've got the complete works under the bed. Excellent read. It's actually holding up the bed as the centre mattress support snapped on Monday. IKEA. Pffft.

Also got into "Lilyhammer" on Netflix. Mafia don goes into witness protection in Norway. Very sly humour. Don is played by Steven Van Zandt from the Springsteen band.

No mention of Lynryyd Skynnrd, but not to say you ain't right.

If he was, wouldn't he be dead now?

Has anyone been watching the other modern day take on SH. It's called "Elementary". It's set in New York, and SH is played by the chap who played "Sick Boy" in Trainspotting. I think that is quite watchable too.
