L200 intercooler installation

I know that this has been covered on this forum and the Oz one, but I'm still not sure about whether you need to wire in the fan that comes with the L200 intercooler or just bin it?

yeah - top mount from a 2003 l200. Has come with all its brackets, hoses and fan hence the question.

The fan is only of any use if you need the intercooler to function when moving slowly. Just bin it, it's just a gimmick on a 4x4 anyway.
