  • Help with rear seating

Sorry if this is in the wrong place. I couldn't find anywhere that would suit it but here.

I have a problem, how the hell do you bring the rear seats forward for more luggage area. I can move the rear rests forward, but I'm assuming you must be able to move the bottom part of the seat (the part you sit your butt on)

The manual is a bit hard to read but it looks like it's telling me there is a handle at the front of the seat, I can't see a handle or pully anywhere, front or rear!

    I have a 94 Hilux Surf SSR-X

    Please help

    Thanks,

    BB

Slide your hand down the back of the cushion (between the back rest and the base), there should be a loop of material to pull on, if not, just grab the base and pull forwards sharply

Ow, once you'd replied and given me the answer it was so easy I'm embarrassed I asked the question

      Thanks for the reply RebelV8.

Now I can get stuff in my truck!

You're welcome BB, no need to be embarrassed over not knowing something though, more embarrassing to break it because you didn't ask first

The rear seats also have a couple of reclining positions that many don't discover.
