We are rocking the HTC wildfire.
Pos if ever I saw one.
Tablet would be nice but the IT Hitler's would lock it down so we couldn't use it.

          Scrub that.
          Just remembered their user policy.
If ya break it you pay for it.

          Nokia 3310 please.

The bottom of the barrel does not surprise me.
They invested heavily in a new web presence with our own portal to access information such as HR documents and technical data for the chillers we work on
              Then gave us those phones.
We are not allowed to access the site via our phones due to high data costs.
Not that we could read a wiring diagram or the like on a 3x2 screen.
Oh and the mapping feature was disabled.
Really handy for the country folk when they get sent into London. But it is ok for the office to track us via the phones locator service.

              Jeez I must stop bitching
              I love my job
              Every day is a holiday
And I feel inspired to achieve

              Our IT is outsourced offshore.

They really didn't get the best bang for there buck there....when I was still in that line of work we just did a deal with o2 for unlimited data....we were spending £12,000 a month anyway so they just didnt care...

                  Yep.
                  Short term gain
                  Long term cost.
A bit like cancelling the breakdown cover for our fleet of mobile engineers.

Need to find a way of scrambling the tracker currently being fitted to my vehicle.
                  Any ideas?

Try finding the GPS arial and wrapping it in tin foil, very low power signal, won't take much to kill it off....

I wonder if my Chinese iPod transmitter will effect the signal?
My TomTom won't locate any satellites if I place it nearby

Quick phone call to the orifice to confirm it was working.

                          Yep
