  • Greetings from the Left Coast, USA

I've just registered here because the forum rules say I have to, so that I can ask a question about UK Hilux Surfs. I'll post the question in the 'General' forum soon. Thanks, Keith B.

It's left when you look at the world the North American way: up North, down South, back East, and out West.

Yes: Lately, about three hours of light rain every three weeks or so.

I'll see what i can do about that.
Edit: Here you go. An iPhone shot of the 4Runner at the Paria Plateau in Northern Arizona. A fabulously beautiful area---but, 4WD is mandatory because 95% of the roads are composed of sand.

I once spent a few days in Santa Monica, passing through on a road trip, nice place.

Is that huge sand roller - city map thing - still on the beach?

It was a nicer place decades ago when it could accurately be characterized as a sleepy little beach town. Relentless development has turned much of it into a car-clogged fume-pit, unless you live in the rich peoples area. That's still quiet and nice.
I'm not sure about the roller... it's sell-by date may have finally come.
