i have a '93 LN130 which some sc*mbag broke into the other night. They damaged the drivers side door lock, fairly badly damaged the ignition barrel, destroyed the dash end of the imobiliser, did a bit of damage to the dash panel and then slashed a tyre when they couldnt nick it.
The insurance company have predictably said it is a write off, and as i cant move it, having it recovered and repaired privatley i suspect would be costly.
anyone have any idea what i might get offered for it from the insurance, and is it worth buying back? i dont have the time/knowledge/space to break it if i bought it back, but equally wouldnt want to see it scrapped if it is useful to someone. And add into the equation i was going to be moving it on in january anyway as i have a new one on order

It's to old to be in any of the guides...get some adverts of the internet to fight your corner on the price...

Several people on here have been through the loop on this lately, I'm sure they'll add there experience soon.

If you decide to fix it I have a column and ignition with a key and one door lock (I think), not sure if it's drivers door or not (or even if that matters).

My guess would be £400-£600 would be what eBay might get you....
