  • Surfs in Perthshire

    Hi all,

Having just moved to Perth I am delighted to see so many Surfs about.

given that - can anyone recommend a good local mechanic that can have a go at replacing the rear oil seals? (this'll be the third time they're needing done).

    Cheers.

Well took the Surf to the local Toyota dealer. A very good (if not cheap) service. They showed me where the old seals had been hammered home - too far - so there was no seal from the last repair. So new seals, bearings and linings. stopped leaking and stops better. hopefully that'll be the only extraordinary expense for a while.

        Welcome dude.

Over the festive period I was up your neck of the woods with my surf.
Over in Blairgowrie staying with family.

Saw another blue 2nd Gen. Wasn't you was it?
