I reckon Toyota GB might be worth a try.

      Try here.

If its true and they honour it fair play - ive been debating a dirty Discovery V8 replacement recently too

          Recall

Mine seems to within the vin no. But both my local Toyota garage and Toyota head office are aware of any recalls on these trucks? Mine was imported in 2005 so they don't have any info for my truck, they gave me a number for a company called (jemservice) www.jemservice.co.uk, apparently they deal with the imports for toyota! Will keep trying!

BTW this is the reply I got today :

Thank you for your email to Toyota (GB).

In response to your query, as your Toyota Hilux Surf was manufactured for the
market in a country other then the United Kingdom, you would need to contact
them in order to obtain the relevant information you are looking for.

The specifications of vehicles do differ from one country to another and as
Toyota (GB) is responsible for vehicles manufactured for the market in the
United Kingdom, unfortunately we would be unable to assist you further with your enquiry.

That's better....bad, but better than a Disc...it happened to me in July, but cleared up nicely after a course of pills.
