Where did you sell your Surf?

Folks. I've never sold a car privately before, I've always either scrapped them or traded them in.

I find myself in the position that I have to sell 2 Surfs. I've been trying to shift them for 6 weeks and haven't had a sniff. I'm now at the point of thinking about scrapping one of them and keeping the other, neither of which I really want to do.

So, where have yours sold?

I sold my fto by classified ad on ebay. Its a bit weird as you still get all these watchers who want it for free, presumably when the ad expires,but it worked for me. As said,big audience

SMC, but it took ages to be honest. I've used ebay with varying degrees of success for selling cars but suffered from the idiots putting in fake winning bids before dying when they won.

x1 on here, the last one. Fella traveled north and survived surprisingly.

Autotrader only seems to be viable when the vehicle is 3k+, as others have said Ebay is the way to go.

I hate having to sell stuff, like you I've never sold a car
so wouldn't know where to start, best of luck with it
anyway.

Just had a thought, might be worth hanging back
for another couple of months, once the cold weather gets
a grip you might well get more interest.

I've sold plenty of cars on Autotrader. I don't really rate eBay, too much crap to go through and endure...

Can't you chop them both in at a local garage for a run around?
