Better than I expected, but I'd be scared of breaking something and it costing a kidney to fix.

Not strictly true, my old TD4 ES with AT/MT tyres and a 2" lift went anywhere any Defender/Yota could. It always out performed my mates defender (we always thought it was the weight advantage) in mud/snow etc

Trouble was it was made by LR on a Friday, so it was fine (probably thanks to that BMW M8 block) but as the rest of the engine bay was salvaged from the car world of skips at 130k it dropped an injector, decided pulleys were no longer its thing, melted a plug or two solid and burnt oil like it had its own vendetta against the ozone (it was feked)

        Hence the surf!
