My darling wife had ordered a new bed which was delivered this morning, so the old bed went to the tip, nice one ! on inspection of the boxes i discovered 2 x Headbords & 2 x Footboards we also have the Kingsize Luxury Matress. No side rails or middle rail so centre slats have no where to go. Phoned Catalogue up to find out whats going on & was told they will collect what has been delivered & they will re-order new bed again it should be with you in 2 weeks RANT where are we supposed to sleep till then ? Not our problem replied catalogue, you could order a alternative bed, but there is nothing we like TOUGH they said. I phoned a different no to express my dis-satisfaction & lack of Sympathy also NO PEOPLE SKILLS what so ever. I am now waiting for a phone call from a manager to have a go at him to see what they are going to do about it. RANT OVER FOR NOW

this might sound dumb, but why not just stick the mattress on the floor and tell them they can't havit it until they come with new bed... then exchange it when the new one arrives!nee nar nee nar, i'm a fire engine!Comment

And the moral of the story is make sure that what ever you order is all there before you dump the old one.
PS is the tip still open, you could always retrieve the old one. Argos have got air beds on special this week and Mat says if you got a week he will put his tent up for you.
