Hey Mark. There aren't a lot of green lanes left in the North West, thanks to the selfishness of all those Rambling to55ers. there is an off road site right on your doorstep, though. Just up the road in Whitworth. See link.

I have heard if you rub a blue one hard enough it goes burgundy at the top. They are prone to mayonnaise in the head though.

And apparently, rub too hard it goes green. I wonder what happens if you forget to rub...does it go baby blue ?
