I wonder on the subject of abs if the average joe driver,will fully appreciate the full advantage of having abs brakes and actually try to steer around the hazard or like most of us, will just bury the size12 into the shagpile and pray?

My guess would be, that without practicing it, that panic will cause the bury and pray approach....though that's still better than the bury and skid approach!
