Did you read the "our workhorses" section ? An extract:

"Handmade Projects has two 4-wheel-drive Series III Land Rovers. They can go more or less anywhere, they're tough, very capable and built to last."

Surely we can't take this site too seriously...

Please do a search on this as its been well discussed! I done it on my old 2nd gen using a mix of diesel and veg oil, not 100% veg oil. After a month the fuel pump started to leak. Cost me more to fix than I saved. That said others will have ran theirs no problem. Personally I wont do it again...........but I don't have a source for cheap wvo to tempt me

The 3.0 L Diesel engine runs on veg quite nicely, but as the weather gets colder you will need to blend in about 5 to 10% petrol, or fit a heat exchanger to warm the fuel. Otherwise it will be very difficult to start. It's due to the viscosity of veg compared to diesel.

I've only put SVO in mine, but other people use WVO without too many problems.

I run my 3l SSRG on a mix of veg and diesel, sometimes just straight veg, get it from MAKRO, no problems been doing it for nearly a year now..
