Gen 3 Wheel Refurb
I finally got around to refurbishing the OEM Alloy wheels on my '97 KZN - mainly down to the fact that I wanted to fit the new Hankook Dynapro RA33's that I have read so much about & thought it best to get the lot done at once, starting with the wheels.
Initially I was going to re-polish the machined surfaces & powder coat all other cast area's but decided in the end to just go ahead & coat the entire wheel.....a lot less faffing around.
I went for a blue-silver that is very close, if not a tad darker, to that on the vehicle:
I then went berserk yesterday, thinking it a good idea to add a little contrast by spraying the centre caps Azure Blue to match the rest of the vehicle:

I'll admit to taking an immediate dislike but decided to sleep on it.....well I woke up this morning, looked out the window & I guess it's started to grow on me so I'll see how I feel at the weekend - comments always welcome (good/bad/indifferent).
